Is it legal for landlord to add by hand writing that I also have to take care and walk his dog too?

It’s a texas home rental lease. Do I have to honor the dog care? It was not a part of the original lease, he hand wrote it in.

Is there anyway I can learn dog training without owning a dog?

July 29th, 2010

I would like to get a dog but I cannot currently, circumstances wont allow it. But since I have never had owned a dog myself I don’t even know how to teach a dog how to sit! Where can I go to learn dog training without having a dog to train?

Why is our new male boxer puppy so skinny? And what is the best (yet not too expensive) food to get it?

July 29th, 2010

Just yesturday my family purchased a cute boxer puppy from a pet store. It was the runt of the litter, and is quite skinny. His ribs, hip bone, and spine show. He’s been dewormed (so I don’t think worms are the issue). He doesn’t sleep overly much, but takes several naps throughout the day. While in the pet store, they tried fattening him up with rice.

Right now we’re feeding it Royal Canin brand "Canine Health Nutrition for Puppies". We were a bit concerned however, because one of the top 5 ingredients is corn gluten meal, which we heard that boxers don’t do well with.

Is there any suggestions you guys have for food we could get for him that’s good quality, yet we won’t pay an arm and a leg for?

And any suggestion toward his weight?
He is 8 weeks old (2 months) and weighs pretty much 10 pounds.
MISTAKE!! He doesn’t weigh 10 pounds, he weighs 5.
Also, it the pert store is in a small town. None of the puppies (or animals) there came from any stupid mill. The animals come from normal families that had a female and male animal that mated and NATURALLY had babies. The families sold their puppies, kitties, or whatever baby animal they had to the pet store, which sells the animals to other families. I’m tiered of all the stupid sarcasim about "…I’m glad you supported the puppy mills…", or "…shame on you and your family…" just give it up people. I don’t like pet mills any more than you do, so why would I "support" it? I also got some comments about "…If it was that skinny, then why did you get it?" I got it because I wanted to give it a nice home and a nice family. If my family didn’t take the dog, I’m sure you know where it would’ve ended up, THE POUND where it would suffer even more. So I don’t wana here no more of those STUPID comments. Got it?
